In 1871 there is a George Rands, 47, shoemaker, born Wellingborough who is living on IoW with numerous children ; one of who is not listed as 'dau' but is 'Servant' and is 25 yo Sarah Jane Rands born Wellingborough ; which could be his niece (dau of Henry). If so the YoB is ~1824.
