Hon. Lucia Emily Margaret White fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918, serving overseas with the Y.M.C.A. and British Red Cross Society, Nursing Service. She held the office of Maid of Honour to HM Queen Alexandria between 1919 and 1922. Her married name became Monckton-Arundell. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Nottingham in 1944.
Lucia married George Vere Arundell Monkton-Arundell 8th Viscount Galway on 24 Jun 1922. (George Vere Arundell Monkton-Arundell 8th Viscount Galway died on 27 Mar 1943.)
