George married Mary Elizabeth Holbrook, daughter of John Holbrook and Mary Elizabeth Wright, on 21 Jan 1880 in St Matthew, Stretford, Lancashire. (Mary Elizabeth Holbrook was born in 1853 in Manchester.)
