Burke's LG "Of Scruton, b in 1744, m in 1779, Mary, only dau of Francis Dalton, Esq. of Hawkeswell, and had issue to survive youth, three daus Harriet, his heiress, Catherine, and Anne. Mr Gale died in 1821 and was s by his eldest dau Harriet Gale."

Henry married Mary DALTON, daughter of Francis DALTON and Unknown, in 1779.
