Anthony served for twenty years in the South African, British and Sultan of Oman's navies. He is now a business psychologist working on consultancy assignments in the UK and in post-conflict countries abroad. He was divorced from his first wife in 1975 and he and his second wife, Susan, have two children: Iona (b1984) and Ross (b1988).
Anthony married Susan.
