1871 Census; Living, age 6, at Snelland, Lincs with parents and 5 siblings. Scholar. PoB looks a little like 'Arkby', Lincs - wherever it is it's the same place as his brother Charles.

1881 Census; Possibly he is the Joseph Blanchard, 17, living as servant at North Kelsey, Lincs. Occupation; Farm Servant . Puts PoB as Dunnington, Lincs.

1891 Census; Can't find. No obvious death record here +/- 10 yrs on free index.

1901 Census; Can't find.
