Presumably she is the Gertrude Ellen Rice who's birth registered Q3 1876 in Northampton.
1881 Census; Living (age 4) at 121 Lovely Lane, Warrington, Lancs with parents, 3 siblings and 2 servants. Second initial looks like 'C' but not sure.
1891 Census; Is living, aged 14 as a boarder at the house of Phillip Haines (35, Railway Inspector) in Atley St., Hardingstone, Northants.her Aunt Kate is also a boarder. Is here as 'Gertie' thus didn't find till found Kate.
1901 Census; Can't find as Rice.
Can't find immediately obvious death record, however a Gertrude Ellen Rice did marry in Q1 1903 in Northampton probably to either George Henry Hilton or Thomas Durrant Young.
