1861 Census; Living (age 8) at Courteenhall Lodge (East), Courteenhall, Northants with parents, 6 siblings and governess and 2 other servants. Scholar.

1871 Census; Living (age 18) at Briar Hill, Hardingstone, Northants with parents, 6 siblings, 2 servants and aunt Mary Phipps. PoB very hard to read, but definately Northants, is same as siblings.

1881 Census; (Incorrectly indexed as Price) living (age 28) at house of widowed mother at Briar Hill Farm, Hardingstone, Northants, with 2 sisters and a servant. Occupation; Farmers Daughter!.

1891 Census; Is living, aged 38 as a boarder at the house of Phillip Haines (35, Railway Inspector) in Atley St., Hardingstone, Northants. Gives PoB here as Briar Hill. Gertie Rice (14, her niece) is also a boarder. Occupation; Living on own means.

1901 Census; Single, living as head, aged 48, at The Briars, Church Ave, Phippsville (named after her mothers brother Pickering Phipps), Northants with 2 sisters and 2 servants. Occupation; Living on own means.

A Kate Elizabeth Rice married in Warrington in Q1 1898 - perhaps went to Lancs to look after nieces, esp as living with Gertie in '91.
