Rec'd a shilling in the will of his father !! Basically this prbly means he was left out of the will, but the 1s was to notify that he hadn't been forgotten accidentally and this means he couldn't contest the will on those grounds. Alternatively it might mean he had already been given assets ; such as the land.
A Thomas Outlaw is listed as a freeholder in Irtlingborough in 1832.
