1881 Census; living, aged 27, near something (Albriton?) Hall, Great Ribston cum Walshford, Yorks with wife, 3 children and mother-in-law. Occupation; Coachman (Dom Serv).

1891 Census; living, aged 37, at Cantley, Doncaster, Yorks with wife and 5 children. Occupation; Coachman, Domestic Servant (presum to owner of Cantley Hall !!). Must have moved from Ribston fairly recently as Edith is 4 and born in Ribston.

1901 Census; living, aged 47, at 26 Pendeen Road, Upper Hallam, Sheffield, Yorks with wife and 4 children. Occupation; Coachman Domestic.

George married Jane S. GROOM, daughter of Unknown and Mary. (Jane S. GROOM was born in 1853 in Norfolk.)
