Also on here shown as born in Giggleswick, whereas subsequently shown as born in Settle (but Settle is in the parish of Giggleswick). Presumably born out of wedlock, and possibly not Wm's.

1871 census (age 20) was unmarried and living with parents and siblings at Victoria Square, Settle. Job was Cleaner at Thread Mill.
